ESP - Extrasensory perception is the term used to describe a special means of obtaining information trough other than the five senses that everyone uses as their primary means. These five senses are considered to be our 'normal' senses and any sense or gathering of information out of the ordinary. When a person develops their ESP, they have increased their mind power by an important and considerable quantum leap above other people. It enables them to receive and send information at will to influence things that are important to them or their relatives. This intuition is badly underrated and often unrecognised by Western science, yet it is one of the greatest powers latent in all human beings to day. It has been called real or straight knowledge and insight for it is direct insight into higher levels of awareness. This straight or direct knowing is a key ingredient in the process of creating a better world for its inhabitants. As outstanding visionaries throughout human history have again and again demonstrated, it is the source of visions and ideas that have the power to uplift consciousness and awareness and inspire the personal enlightened progress. True intuition or ESP is characterised by universality. It reveals the oneness of love and life and the presence of the sacred, spiritual in the everyday world of human experience and being. How People Experience Intuition The intuitive impressions we receive come to us in a variety of different ways and methods. As you read the following descriptions and examples below, you can catch a glimpse of the intriguing and often unexpected ways that intuitive impressions can be experienced. Perhaps you will recognise your own personal talents as well and realise that you are also psychic!
CLAIRAUDIENCE (clear hearing) is the personal ability to receive thoughts or information about a person or situation through the auditory sense instead of the visual one. This information is actually inaudible to the normal hearing range but can be received by the sensitive. It can be experienced as delicate sounds such as music, bells, soft voices or whispering or singing. It might also manifest as a knocking, or other sound. Most often, it comes as a voice that is literally heard directly in the brain, as if it comes from beside or behind the back of the person. This voice can have many aspects, at times sounding like the person's own, and at others taking on a change of tone or sounding like someone else. It can take on an authoritarian tone or that of relaxing, warning, gentle prodding, or gentle encouragement. It can also be very objective, to the point and straight forward.
CLAIRVOYANCE (clear seeing or clear vision) is mostly experienced when an individual sees objects, people, or situations, not with the physical eyes, but with some kind of an internal sense sometimes often referred to as the "third eye". Such visions come from something beyond one's physical view, e.g., in the next room, down the street, your family or friend, or a thousand kilometres away.
CLAIRSENTIENCE (clear sensing) is most probably the most frequent way this inner intuition manifests itself. Through hunches, gut feelings, misgivings, or a sense of knowing without knowing how one knows. This sensing is often accompanied by a physical sensation in the body, the solar plexus, the heart area, the back. Some feel a prickling or tingling of their skin. The physical sensation can vary widely with each person and has to be "decoded" to become useful. This information comes to us as a thought that walks across the mind in a natural, subtle manner. When intuition comes to us in this way, it is so much like the regular musings of our mind that we can easily miss it, dismiss it, or mistake it for our own thoughts.
TELEPATHY is thought to be a special transference from the deep subconscious of one individual to that of another in a non verbal manner and is commonly referred to as mind reading. AURA PERCEPTION is the ability to see the surrounding energy field with all living beings. The subtle aura's colors and vibration can indicate the condition and health of one's physical body, the mental/emotional state of one's mind, and the level or heightens of one's spiritual personal development.
PERCEPTION OF OTHER CHANNELS. Yet another way this type of better intuition manifests is the ability to visually perceive life forms from other dimensions or channels. These forms might include loved ones who have passed on long ago, spiritual guides, angels, natural spirits, and so on. PSYCHOMETRY is the ability to receive information from the inner vibration and ether of an object. By holding an object in your hand, it is possible to pick up intuitive and sensitive information about the object or the person to whom it belongs or belonged Impressions can be seen through visual images, heard in words, in thoughts, or physical sensations about the object or person. Insights can also come from the vibrations in a particular location or setting on the ground or in a room (laylines). Intuition Through Time Sometimes the intuition we receive relates to a time other than the present.
PRECOGNITION is the ability to know beforehand about something before it actually occurs somewhere into the future what can happen in the conscious state as well as in the dream state, and can be experienced through any of the clear senses.
RETROCOGNITION is the ability to know certain distinctive special details about something that has taken place in the past (month, years) without having been told by someone or having read about it anywhere. As with precognition, we can experience these insights through any of the clear senses mentioned earlier. Past-life or previous life memories are an example of this.
YOURSELF: Recognising those Intuitive Insights and intuitions in yourself How do we know when we are receiving intuitive information from anywhere? How do we discern that particular type of information from the thousands of impulses we receive every day in our mundane life? As with all those different types of information experienced by individuals, confirmations of intuition and ESP capacity come to us in a broad variety of ways. Many people, especially those with a strong intuitive strength is through clairsentience, experience physical sensations. If the impressions are of a warning nature, the physical indicators might include restlessness, feeling urgent, physical pain, or discomfort in the stomach or the back or the suggestion iof physical movements (steering away). Positive insights might trigger a spinning sensation at the top of the head (my head stands open), spontaneous tears, warmth in the hands, throat or at the base of the spine, or a sense of opening or spinning in the heart area. Other people experience the existence of intuitive information through the feelings and personal emotions, such as a feeling of uneasiness, concern, confusion, agitated, nervousness, misgivings…. When the information is positive such as joy, euphoria, or profound peace may prevail. Another indicator of intuitive information is a sense of great clarity, just KNOWING, it is like it is!! Whether the insight comes as a thought, impression, voice, or a received vision.
