I put the WTC disaster of Sept. 11, 2001 on a diagram together with the mayor events concerning war, attacks, disaster, riots, high jacking and bombings between 1963 and 2001 and got a remarkable series of events and negative tendencies showing up!
Achillo Lauro / PanAm-Lockerbie / Oklahoma City Blast / 2 US Embassies blasted / WTC 911... All on one, almost straight line, firmly connected!

My condolences for the massive pain and grief inflicted on countless US and other civilians of countries world-wide on Sept. 11, 2001 and their feelings of severe loss. My system of 'Life Cycles Matrix ®' is developed precisely to understand why important happenings in the life of a person or a group of people (the USA in this case) do happen and with what events in the past they are correlated in a hidden way. So I first made a short analysis about the circumstances that, to the best of my knowledge and experience, had an influence and helped lead to these tragic events on September 11th, 2001.
This analysis is based on the fact that events of the same "tendency" or in the same "framework" tend to repeat themselves with intervals of 3.2 years or multiples such as 9.6 years (or in lesser importance 28.8 years). The diagram below is organised in sections of 3.2 years each to determinate adjacent, influential periods of time quickly. By putting the date of an event on the chart, it becomes possible to learn something about its relationship with events in earlier sections. In this case the WTC911 shows dramatic connections with a string of important terrorist actions over past 16 previous years.

Evaluation:
Since the last 9.6 and 19.2 years, with very positive 'intermediate' results as the ending of the Cold War, there is nevertheless a steep increase in negative involvement and in destructiveness towards the US.... Achillo Lauro / PanAm-Lockerbie / End of cold war / Oklahoma City Blast / 2 African US Embassies blasted / WTC 911 attack... all on one almost straight line on the diagram! Only one item, the End of the Cold War is positive, all others in an increasing importance downhill.
It is obvious that the US is definitely NOT learning an important lesson due to the fierce aggravation of the facts during the latest series of 5 cycles of 3.2 y. The fact that the happenings in the field of highjacking and bombing civilians takes such a tremendous increase is devastating and is a very significant sign, certainly not to overlook.
If one just compares the 9.6 y cycle (the most prominent one in my whole system of life cycles) we see a very positive event: End of Cold War (rated at '+100') and an actual very negative one: WTC 911 attack (rated at '-100'). In just one decade, the US slid down from being a mighty, peace-supporting, wise, highly successful country into a state that fiddles with international treaties to serve egoistic goals (such as the CO2 exhaust...), blocked the peace process in the Middle-East (by revoking the intended international peace mission in March '01) and takes in a tremendous blow right in the face.
If one observes the 28.8 y cycle (a bit less important than the 9.6 y) we come out at the defeat in Vietnam, and if one looks at this gruesome affair then and than compares it with WTC 911, I become completely silent... Do you sense what I am talking about?
I know it sounds eerie, but I have now a lot of statistical evidence that my theory isn't a theory anymore but a FACT. When I found out these strings mentioned above in the middle of September '01, I didn't believe it myself and started an analysis of the whole 20th century to make sure I didn't make a mistake, afraid that I was only involved in wishful thinking. A good friend and fellow therapist served as 'peer' and assisted me while we worked about 50 hours together to found a solid structure for this report and the next to come ("20th Century and War" - due in a few months time).
The fact that people in the world are going to that length of planning and training to realise and execute such a trait with that magnitude tells not only a lot about the 'quality' and determination of those terrorists in their attack but also about the ignorance of the US as well. The US has something fundamental to learn in the field of communications. It should try to figure out why people with bright minds and determination are inflicting such evil things to the 'pearl of freedom', the US (this doesn't mean however that I support or admire the perpetrators of these horrendous acts).
The US should definitely learn why there is so much hatred towards the 'American way of life' in the Middle-East and elsewhere in the world and not waving it away as barbaric, low-developed, fundamentalist, murderers, insane.... with the 'fault' obviously projected abroad, the US being brave, sincere, hard working, a God loving country...
Talking now abundant about the 'state of war' is on this long line of 'war energy' strings is dangerous and should certainly be avoided. This increase in the gravity and negativity of the string of happenings over 16 years is a sure sign that a sort of negatively creative energy is mounting. Moreover it is NOT recognised - let alone integrated - by the US at large.
The last word about the Middle-East, Palestinian problems, Israel, terrorism and energy consumption is still far away...

I suggest you to print out this page and study the analysis with the printed page adjacent on your desk and with the bigger picture of the diagram above on your computer screen. Remember, studying life (time) cycles takes some time and effort.

Future: what to expect at the end of 2004 - beginning 2005 ?
If nothing is done, integrated or turned around, we can expect more of the same for the end 2004 - beginning 2005. But this time, it may come from inside of the US, as it will than be 9.6 years after the bombing of Oklahoma City by McVeigh, a US citizen who worked solitarily. The severe contradiction between the official US government way of handling things (big industry - power - military budget escalation - egoistic attitude against the rest of the world) and the personal attitude of American people (generally speaking in good, positive vibes, communicative, honest, hard working, optimistic) shows that the country is not ruled as it should be. America shows to the outside world a totally different image that I see from those numerous people and friends I am in contact with, being about 70% North-Americans. It is almost as if they are from a different, 'alien' planet!
This contradiction creates more tension and conflict inside the US as a society, probably leading to disruptive actions and attacks by local terrorist activists. I see a clear inward movement where the US still projects its own 'shadow' on the bad terrorists outside the country. As the political situation is polarised between only two major political groups, a real renovator or initiator (as Kennedy was) is much more difficult to find. Winning the American elections needs much more than only the motivation to do it well and to take new directions.
But let me stay with the facts: I am not here to play politics for another society, I am here to try to derive and project some probable future events out of the analysis of the past. I talk here alot about the government as this is the 'boss' or the 'decision-maker' of the country, resulting in a US policy. If I make a life cycles matrix analysis for a person out of his course of life, I don't talk politics, I talk about his or her attitude, skill, life goal and motivation (or lack of).
With great probability I see for the end of 2004 - the beginning 2005 a terrorist action from inside the US on a serious magnitude. It doesn't have to be bombing or plane crashing, this is not important. But it will be a kind of disaster and hit a serious number of people and/or a big area or building or a large community. BUT, all this happening depends, for the large part, on what the US society does in-between the next 3.2 years.
What can be done right now?
A serious action to look inside, to integrate, to renew old paradigms and bury obsolete processes could twist the 911 disaster energy into a more fruitful result. Ghandi was a good example of this in the Indian history, Kennedy for the US, Gorbatsjov another for Russia..
When talking about integrating and transforming a negative tendency, it's obvious that there is the need for change. To put it in very simple words: you cannot transform something unless you make changes in your actual behaviour and in the tactics you used in the past and/or still use right now. Every leap in consciousness, every revolution starts with becoming conscious about an event, an energy, an attitude. Once recognised, only than can a possible change set in if the motivation to do is sufficient. This recognition is not yet obvious for the American people as a society. They still stand firmly behind their "democratically chosen" government and it's policy and don't realise themselves sufficiently that they (the US) are creating the actual events out of things they do and, more important, things they don't...Let's end with a positive note: I learned that even very, very negative events bear positive (hidden) contents. If one finds the deeper meaning of a negative experience, one can extract this energy and start using it in a positive way (the same as I used my going broke in 1996 for this new life cycles matrix ® system in understanding the course of a life to ameliorate my surrounding world and circle of people).
The future is not fixed, it is forming itself with a delay of 3.2 and 9.6 years out of the actual attitudes, conflicts and happenings. There is for us certainly a big job to do in our brand-new 21st century in the next decade... But if it is done, results can be dramatic. My experience shows that it takes just 3.2 years of honest work to reach important improvements, while 9.6 years gives a 100% turnaround potential!
To put it in a simple, 'silly' equation: those mentioned '-130 negative US points' above in the example can be transformed into about '+90 positive points', if one finds the switch, the key(s) to turn it around... How? Maybe the key is political? As it concerns a group of 300 million people it has to be something 'central'. A highly influential, skilled leader?... (in my view we need another Kennedy)...
...As the US always does the right thing in the end, let's give it some credit.

Extra articles : This first study above ignited a further investigation during the winter of '01-'02 by me and a fellow 'peer' therapist about the whole 20th Century in the light of war, terrorist acts and so forth. This study is showing indications that an extra string of events is forming, giving 'a forthcoming peak of negative outbursts' around September-November 2002 and as well in the Fall of 2004....
20th Century Analysis of War, Terrorism and the WTC 911 (Part #1): The way the research was set up, who did it and how!
Note about how to do the analysis: When one makes an analysis with a life cycles matrix ® diagram, you place the event you want to study on the right spot on the diagram (in this example: blue - Sept. 11, 2001). Following you draw a horizontal line (blue 'WTC line') over the period of time you want to study. After that, you decide what 'bandwidth' you want to use to see events as significant and meaningful (I choose plus and minus 3 months = 6 months bandwidth = blue area). Then one studies all events in the world, with the most importance placed on those relating to the US, that have a meaning and relation with your question (in this case war, riots, terrorist, highjacking, bombing...).
As the question is very important, one chooses only the most important events and gives them as well an additional and certain 'score'. Events that are important but have nothing to do with the US (like the Rainbow Warrior sinking by France) don't score and are only indicative.
Note about why scoring: This is not necessary but used in this case to give some sort of rating or 'objective measure' in evaluating items on the diagram. You use your own intuition, being personal, biased, emotional, non scientific... but nevertheless motivated to do a decent job. Then you try to see if you have some correlation. If you find a connection, you see how the event (911 attack) compares with 9.6 years before and all multiples of 3.2 years in-between and what the events tell in relation to each other. Than you do the same with the previous 9.6 years period and so forth. If you see an evolution, positive or negative, you've got something!. You have to evaluate the whole "string" of events or period of time to understand what it's saying or what is has as underlying meaning about the actual event (911) that you are investigating.
I find this example above so clear-cut and to the point that it's mind boggling in it's simplicity AND in shear magnitude...
The 'US': I talk about the USA as a whole, being a young country with a rather weak, polarised political system, overly technological, living and consuming far above the level our planet can sustain for our total world population. The people of the US on the other hand (with which I exchange most of my busy e-mail), are marvellous, upbeat, hardworking people, concerned with the well being of the world and its population. They accomplish a high standard of consciousness and are, in general, very interesting and inspiring persons, albeit sometimes a little bit in a hurry.
